A judgment or opinion about the value or quality of somebody/something.
What is estimation?
A way of expressing a part or fraction of a whole in terms of parts per hundred.
What are percentages?
The relationship between two groups of people or things that is represented by two numbers showing how much larger one group is than the other.

Rounding, speed and distance, and catching mistakes.

Sales tax, tipping, and sales discounts.

Baking/Cooking, In sports, Grocery Shopping.

A way to slightly change a number to make it easier to calculate approximate sums.
What is rounding?
Understanding how to get the percentage of a total amount is important and something that we must know how to do when leaving a tip.
Why are percentages important to tipping?
Being able to double or half a recipe. It is important to retain the ratio, otherwise the actual chemistry of the food will be changed.
