What is the dividend?

100

The equations in the fact family 4, 12, and 3

What are: 4x3=12;  3x4=12;  12/4=3;  12/3=4

100

What is 4?

100

The rule that lets us know if a dividend can be divided by 5

What is if there is a 0 or 5 in the ones place of the dividend?

100

The quotient when the dividend and the divisor are the same

What is an even number?

500

Explain why we say the "usual" number of equations in a fact family and give an example of when it isn't the usual number

Since each fact family uses 3 numbers, we can usually write 4 different equations with them (2 multiplication and 2 division).  When the factors are the same though, there will only be 2 equations.  For example:

5,5,25- 5x5=25 and 25/5=5

21 divided by 3 =

What is 7?

500

The rule that tells you if a dividend can be divided by 6

What is if the dividend can be divided by both 2 AND 3
