HealtheLife portal clients will have to develop an app or partner with an App, such as, Healthkit or Fitbit, in order to meet the Patient Access measure in stage 3 for the API. Is this true or false?
False, HealtheLife clients will not be required to develop an app or partner with a company with an app to meet the requirement. Clients with their own portals or their own identity providers will HAVE to do work against the API to integrate these solutions to count for objective 5 measure. If they want to continue that strategy their portal will need to approach Cerner to enter in a business agreement, accept the terms, and start developing against our API.
