Medical has the same disciplinary capabilities as officers and if they seg or 24 someone you should enforce it and stand behind your medical staff

Check the inmate physically if they don't respond to touch then apply painful stimuli (sternal rub etc) if still no response call a MEDICAL CODE then check for a pulse and if they are breathing if they aren't begin CPR!

They can be placed on both a medical watch and 15/3 MH watch

If inmates fill out a sick call stating Discharge planning within a week of release they will be provided with a 7 day supply of all prescription medications.
