Medicare is Federal Health Insurance for people over the age of 65 and certain people under the age of 65 with disabilities.

We cannot take payment for October. The policy will be manually terminated as of 9/30 for nonpayment.

At the end of the month for that month.
What is the difference between AEP and MA OEP?
AEP is the Annual Enrollment Period from October 15th - Dec 7th each year. Members may enroll, change, or disenroll.
MA OEP is the Open Enrollment Period from January 1st - March 31st each year.Members can make a one-time election to disenroll from the MA plan they chose during AEP and enroll in a different Advantage plan or proceed with Original Medicare only.
A Medicare member passes away on 9/9/2025. When will their policy terminate?
9/30/2025. Medicare policies are only terminated as of the end of the month.
Member has a premium of $4.30. They are paid current through August 31st. They have not paid for September or October. When did their grace period start?
Their grace period will not start until the member's owe more than $10. Late letters will be sent once the balance exceeds $10.
