How does Lasix work?
1. What is inhibition of reabsorption of sodium and chloride from the loop of Henle and distal renal tubule. Increases renal excretion of water, sodium, chloride, magnesium, potassium and calculi.
2. causes loss of sodium bicarbonate and calcium while saving potassium and hydrogen ions by antagonizing aldosterone
