When you need help with a problem, or want to share something good.
You are NOT in trouble if you go down to see the counselor!
What if I need to report something?
Talk to one of the safe adults here at school.
A teacher, the counselor, the nurse, the principal, the secretary, etc.
I can bring a friend with me
True, but it depends! I LOVE supportive friends that get you to the right people. Once I know what's going on, at that point, I may ask your supportive friend to go back to class so they're not missing too much class time.
What kind of pets does your counselor have?
I have two cats and a dog!

What is confidentiality?
The counselor won't share what you say UNLESS...

You hurt someone else

I love watching shows, listening to music, pin collecting, Garfield, and spending time with my loved ones :)
How does a school counselor help you?
Academics: school-work, tools to be organized and manage time
Personal: keep you safe, solve conflict, trouble with feelings, celebrate the good/happy things
When is your counselor available?
I will always try to be available, but sometimes, I might be teaching a lesson, in a meeting, or working with other students.
I will try my best to see you as soon as I can!
You can only see the counselor if it's a BIG problem
False! We can work through little problems too. We also love to celebrate with you when you have positive things happen!
