Who was Marco Polo and what was he famous for?
Marco Polo was a European explorer who traveled to Asia along the Silk Road. While he was in China he exchanged ideas with Kublai Khan. He was most famous for writing a book called "the travels of Marco Polo". In the book he tells people of Europe all about things he saw in China including inventions.
