First, immediately notify Mrs. Bourgeois of what you know and see.
Mrs. Bourgois will notify the counselor and the report will be made to DSS by one of the three of us or all of us together.
How many crossword puzzles and/or word searches are students allowed to complete per semester?
What is none? Better not see that.
How many conferences are required per school year?
Two conferences are required per school year. One in the fall and one in the spring.

When should your first telephone conversation take place with a parent?
Sunshine calls are to be made within the first week of school. This is to be personal, not a newsletter, not a postcard. This must be made via phone call or face to face. This contact log is due Friday, September 6th.
When should PBIS matrix lessons be taught and where can I find them?
The school-wide PBIS matrix is to be taught during the first 10 days of school.

What time shall all money receipts be submitted to Ms. Greene? Is it ok to leave money overnight in your classroom? Why or why not?
NEVER leave money in the classroom overnight or over the weekend.
Why? Can you afford to replace stolen money on your teacher's salary?
What can and can't staff members wear to school?
Can: dresses, slacks, anything that does not show your cleavage, gut, and or crack. MGES Gator attire.
Can't: spaghetti straps, tank tops, daisy dukes, jeans with holes, rips, or tears.
Where will your lesson plans be located in the event of your absence? What should be included with these plans?
On your desk in an emergency folder, not students desks, not in a cabinet, not in a dusty notebook
A class roster/attendance sheet, seating chart, daily schedule, location of anything needed for activ board and/or videos (substitute teacher password from Nora), a list of students who are responsible helpers and a list of students who need medications and times.

Three positive contacts.

Minor: pencil tapping, out of the seat, running in the classroom, calling out
Majors: fighting, weapons, threats, bullying
*Rember that Bullying is targeted and repetitive behaviors towards a student or group of students by another.
What two very important things should you do when a student is injured?
1. Complete the accident report located in the office.
2. Contact the child's parent.
Who responsibility is it to notify a parent when a child is breaking the dress code?

Why and When should you revisit PDSA boards daily with students?
Why: To focus instruction so that students know their learning targets and know where they are.
When: At the beginning of the math and ELA lessons.
What is the purpose of giving homework?
For specific practice and review of the days content.

Repeated minor behaviors
Under no circumstance will a child receive silent lunch for failure to complete homework or Reading Counts test. This is a new School level policy. All children deserve the ability to interact and socialize with their peers during lunch.
