According to Dei Verbum, He is the source of all revelation.
Who is Jesus Christ
He was responsible for the temptation of Eve.
Who/What is the serpent?
He led the Israelites out of Egypt.
Who is Moses?
He was the first king to rule over a united Israel. God made a covenant with him and promised him that his throne would be established forever.
Who is King David?
After Israel split in two, the northern kingdom retained the name Israel. The southern kingdom was named this.

God made a covenant with him and promised him that through his descendants all the nations of the world would be blessed.

It was here that God revealed the divine name to Moses: I am who I am
What is the burning bush/Mt. Horeb?
This prophet and judge warned Israel that they would not like having a king. He's got a pretty cool name.
Who is Samuel?
This empire defeated the Babylonian empire, allowing the Israelites in captivity to return to Judah.
What is the Persian empire?
We described this in class as a "yes" to God's invitation to relationship

In the second creation story, Eve is created from this part of Adam

This feast, still celebrated by Jews today, commemorates God rescuing the Israelites from Egypt

This prophetic book is usually divided into several parts. Its name comes from the prophet who preached in Judah from 740-700 BC.

This is a meeting held by bishops in the Catholic Church where they gather together to issue an authoritative ruling on an issue. the most recent one ended in 1965

His violent creation of the skies in the Enuma Elish stands in sharp contrast to the peaceful, orderly creation depicted in Gen. 1
Who is Marduk?
In the Mosaic covenant, God promises Israel that if they keep his commandments, they will be a treasured possession, a kingdom of priests, and this third thing.
