My pencil broke and I need a new one, what do I do?
Put the dull/broken one in the dull cup and grab a new one.

I brought a cold lunch today. Where do I put my lunch box when I am done?
Miss Klein will have a black bucket outside her room that I can put it in on my way out to lunch recess.
Do I keep student supplies in my desk.
No when we are done we need to return it to the student center so others can use it!
I don't have the supplies I need to do a worksheet or assignment. What do I do or where do I go?
Check the student center and if it's not there then you can ask Miss Klein.
Can I carry rocks around and play with them?
No. Especially NO throwing the rocks.
How do we line up for the hall way?
In number order. UNLESS your job is line leader or caboose.
What happens if Miss Klein hears a friend and I fighting over a flexible seating option?
We get one chance to solve it, otherwise we lose that option for the day.
How many pencils do I keep in my desk at a time?
2!
How do I get Miss Klein's attention?
Quietly raise my hand and wait for her to call on me or come over. Unless it is to go to the bathroom. Then we can use the bathroom signal.
Can we play tackle football?
No, we can play two hand touch though!
What is our job in the bathroom.
To go in and come out. No splashing water or messing around. Be responsible 4th graders.
Where do I keep my water bottle?
I keep it on my desk and if it becomes a distraction Miss Klein will make a new spot for it.
What is our secretaries name?
Mrs. Penny, she is awesome and can always help you if needed!
What if I missed school one day, where can I find missing work?
In the student center there are bins labeled for the week. I can go check the day I missed and pick up any missing work.
What did Mr. Gunderson say about basketball?
You can dunk but NO hanging on the rims. Make sure we are playing fair and being SAFE!
What do we do if there isn't a teacher in the room?
Line up nicely outside their room and quietly wait for them to come in. Don't go into a room with no teacher.
What are the pillows in the library used for?
The are used to sit on or put behind our backs when sitting on the ground. We do not hit each other with them and it's not used to take a nap!
Where do I put my extra PE shoes?
On the top shelf above MY backpack.
What are the first things we do when entering the classroom in the morning?
1. Hang up back pack
2. Put my take home folder in my mail box.
3. Sharpen my pencil if needed.
4. Get started on morning work right away. QUIETLY
5. Depending on the day I may have a classroom job to do.
What is the most important thing when playing at recess.
That we are respectful to our classmates, playing fair, and being SAFE!
Make sure you asked Miss Klein first and then take a pass and quietly go do what you need to do.

Ask Miss Klein, and if I am not around ask any other teacher or adult and we would be happy to help you!
Where can I find a book if I want to do some independent reading?
In the class library! Make sure when you are done it gets put away nicely!
