Does this class have homework?
Not often! Sometimes you will need to bring in photos or work on your sketch revisions outside of class, but most of the work you turn in will be done during class time unless you are not using class time appropriately.
What is the deadline for late work?
A deadline will be set for the end of each QUARTER. No work is accepted after the end of the quarter deadline.
If I come after the bell, will I be marked tardy?
Yes, I know we are tucked away on the 4th floor, but we all need to do our best to get here on time.

Evidence of Revision: Show significant changes to idea/composition/proportion
Technical Readiness: Initial sketch is legible and revised sketch is high-quality and ready for project.

Animation, typography, illustration, printmaking, etc.
What do I need to do if I have something to turn in late?
Just resubmit on Google Classroom! I try to review late work every other week at least (usually every week).
I gotta pee, what do I do?
Let me know and take your ID and a bathroom pass!
You must wait for a pass to return before you can go.
And remember, there are 30 other people and some of them might also need to pee, so hurry back!!

Is this class all digital?
Nope! I would say a good amount of your summative assignments are, but we will definitely do some projects with more traditional materials as well. You will also have choice in some of your projects to work with iPads or on paper.
Can I turn in a project late for full credit?
YES! All formative and summative assignments are accepted late as long as it is submitted before the end of quarter deadlines. Assignments from "Crit/Studio Habits" and "Planning/Sketching" are typically NOT accepted late for credit.

Do I need to have my own iPad?
Of course not! We have them here, but you are welcome to use your own if you have one.
Unfortunately iPads must stay in the classroom, so if you need more time to work on an assignment, you will have to come in outside of class time. Advisory is a great opportunity for that! Typically I cannot stay after school.
Is ALL work accepted late?
NO. "Critique & Studio Habits" category generally cannot be made up or submitted late. This includes class critiques, project check-ins, etc.
Can I eat in here?
Unfortunately not. We use a lot of shared tools and technology, so that is a lot of disgusting germs, imo.
There are also ants everywhere!!!!!!!!!! If you need to eat something because you missed a meal or you aren't feeling right, just ask me!!

THAT IS UP TO YOU. As long as you do the best quality work YOU can do and try to meet all deadlines, you have nothing to worry about.
If you decide this is a blow off class and do mediocre work, your grade will reflect that.
