Where do I find the Northern Lights textbooks?
Student must show where the Northern Lights textbooks are located.
Can I use the bathroom during class?
YES! IF all are true!
I have my materials ready and am following along.

Can I walk around the room if I have a reason that is connected to my learning?
YES. you can walk around the room IF
you need to move and you are not distracting others
you need to get something and it's work time
you have a quick question for an adult or a classmate (and its related to what we are learning).
Where do I find extra copies and work that I have missed?
Student must SHOW.
What do I do with my area at the end of the day?
1. Check table tops-put things away.
2. Check floor under and around your table. Pick up stuff and put away.

Where do I find scissors, glue and rulers?
Student must SHOW where these items are located.
Can I use the bathroom if I ask my teacher during worktime?
Yes!
What should I do when I get to class?
Look at the board and follow the instructions.
Where will I find my work that has been graded? What should I do with it?
Your graded work will be in the HAND-Back bin. SHOW ME!
Keep your work or take a picture of it to document that it is complete and the grade you received.
Where do I throw away my plastic bag or wrap
Garbage-SHOW!
Where do I find colored markers?
Student must SHOW where the markers are located.
If I need to use the bathroom, and my teacher is teaching, do I have to wait?
Yes. But this is a bummer! So instead of putting it off, check in with yourself at the end of each class and plan ahead. Use the passing times for getting drinks, going to your locker, and using the bathroom.
Can I get up and stretch or stand while the teacher is teaching?
YES-if all are true
1. People around you can still see
2. You are not distracting others
What do I do when I'm done with my work, and ready to hand it in to be graded.
Correct Period Hand-In Drawer. MUST DEMONSTRATE.
Where does paper go?
What are the procedures for using a pencil? (must get 3 of 4)
1. Get a pencil from the front or the back of the room.
2. If the teacher is teaching-go to the back of the room, stay quiet.
3. You may use the pencil sharpener ONLY when it's work time, not during teaching or presentation time.
4. Return ANY pencils you have used, see on the table or see on the floor (at the end of the period).
Can I use the bathroom if I am doing my work and participating in what we are doing?
Yes!
Why is it important to walk in the classroom?
Keep others and yourself safe.

People can't get by your spot.
There is not enough room to move around and get things you need.
Where do I put work that I am not done with?
1. Binder-IF Responsible
2. Student must SHOW and explain where unfinished work will go if they are NOT putting it in a binder.What should I do if I see stuff on the floor?
