The report of another person's words by a witness is usually disallowed as evidence in a court of law.
Hearsay
Witness is not qualified to answer or talk about an issue that they are not an expert on (they have no knowledge)
Improper Opinion
Witness has already testified about the subject. (They already answered the same question).
