Salat Al-Qasr - The method of salat al-qasr is the same as the daily salah. The only difference is the niyyah and the number of rak‘at. What are the rules of Salat Al-Jama‘ah?
1. The niyyah of salat al-jama‘ah should be to follow the Imam of jama‘ah People praying in congregation should stand together shoulder to shoulder without leaving any gaps.
2. The followers should recite all the dhikr themselves except for Surat al-Fatiha and the second surah in the first two raka'ah.
3. No actions (such as ruku or sajdah) should be performed before the Imam.
4. The followers should perform them at the same time as the Imam or slightly after the Imam.
5. If a follower arrives late, he or she can join the jama‘ah. There are special rules for this.

4. The intention and purpose of travel must not be to do something haram.
