Natural leather will fade in direct sunlight. If they are looking for something fade resistant, we recommend our Vegan Leather.

Is pilling a defect and what can you do to get rid of pilling?

Pilling is an inherent property of Solution-Dyed Acrylic and is not a defect. Pills can be quickly and easily removed with an upholstery shaver.

False. The washed linens are pigment dyed so they cannot get wet so they are dry clean only.

Is crushing a defect and what can you do about it?

Crushing is a natural characteristic of velvet. Two things you can do to help are to use a velvet brush and brush on the direction of the nap and you can also use a steamer. 

Never press the steamer directly onto the mohair pile. Use minimal steam to just relax the crushed fibers.

Natural soap, mild detergent, or bleach solution. For bleach: one part bleach to two parts water. 

Always rinse thoroughly with water and air dry. Note: Chlorine bleach won't affect coloration but strong chemicals will eventually affect fiber strength.

What should you should never use on linen?

Never use bleach, spot pens, or detergents with enzymes or harsh cleaners on any linen. 

Do not rub as this damages the fibers. This protects the natural material from chemical and mechanical damage

How do you clean stubborn stains from Mohair Velvet?

A diluted carpet upholstery shampoo can be used. Always apply the cleaning solution to the dampened white cloth, never directly onto the upholstery. 

We also always recommend professional cleaning.

If you spill on leather how do you clean it?

If the leather gets scratched what are tips to help?

Remove stains by dabbing with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. 

To eliminate scratches, try a dry cloth or rubbing the leather gently with your finger.
