God told moses to make a image of a snake and mount it on a pole.  Whenever someone who was bitten looked at the bronze snake, God healed them.

Obeying God is what is best for us. God loves us and wants us to follow His ways because they lead us to what is good. Even though obeying God can be hard, those who place their faith in Jesus are given the Holy Spirit to help them obey.
