Is there a "right" conclusion for the PT answer?
No. There is variety among performance test answers deemed to be passing than among passing essay answers.
Do you have to use all of the materials in your answer to an MPT question?

What subjects are tested on the MPT?
May include virtually any area of law. MPT has involved areas such as health law, sports law, bankruptcy, environmental law, and maritime law in addition to torts, contracts, etc.
What is the difference between a model answer and a sample answer
Model is the "perfect" answer including everything possible. Sample answer is an answer created by a student in testing conditions, they will not be perfect.
How closely should you read the instructions?
Not very--don't waste time on the instructions because they are the same on every test. Skim them just in case.
What is a spin off exercise?
create a different task from the same PT facts--i.e. if you were asked to draft a memo to your partner, draft a letter to a client advising the client on pros and cons of choices.

What two types of documents might you asked to write for the MPT?
1. Objective Documents- i.e. a memo to a partner, a letter to a client, a fact investigation plan, etc.
2. Persuasive Documents: brief, complaint, jury instructions, memo in support of a motion to dismiss, etc.
How many MEE questions is the MPT worth?
The MPT is worth the same amount as FOUR essays!
Should you read the cases in the library in order?
You should do what works for you--you may want to read them in order, , but some people find it helpful to read the in reverse-chronological order b/c sometimes a later case refers to an earlier case/overrules a case, etc.
Should you rip the task memo from the packet to help answer the question?
No-- The MPT instructions specifically forbid ripping or tearing out any pages.
Are there any subjects that you are expected to have memorized for the PT?
Yes- Professional Responsibility -- you will be expected to know the basics of your professional responsibilities.
