The probability of flipping heads on a fair coin, expressed as a fraction.
What is ½?
The ratio of triangles to circles if there are 4 triangles and 8 circles.
What is 1:2? (4:8 simplifies to 1:2)
If a $40 item is on sale for 25% off, this is the final price after the discount.
What is $30? ($40 × 0.25 = $10 off; $40 – $10 = $30)
⅜ as a percent.
What is 37.5%? (3 ÷ 8 = 0.375 → 37.5%)
