Can you have food or drink in the classroom?
*No food or drinks (except water in a clear container)
What is the procedure for going to the restroom/water?
*Sign out to go to the RR/get water. Date, first and last name, destination, time out, time in. Take the RR pass with you.
What happens if I don't sign out of the classroom?How many people can be out of the classroom at a time?
Failure to follow correct procedure could result in Canvas infractions. Only 1 student total out of the classroom at a time.
Should I go right or left when leaving the classroom to go to the restroom/water?
*When you leave the classroom for RR, water, ALWAYS GO TO THE RIGHT. No one should go left out of my classroom.
Which way do I go to my grade level team area if I am in 4th or 6th periods? If I'm in 2nd period (8th grade), which way do I go to my 3rd period class?
*At the end of your Connections slots (2nd, 4th, and 6th periods), you should always go to the right and take the 1st set of stairs on your right (6th & 7th grades) to go back to your grade level area.
When Mrs. Crawford is instructing, what should I do with my computer and its accessories?
*During instructional time, turn screen around to the middle and keeps hands off the keyboard and mouse.
Can I change any settings on my computer?
*Don’t change any settings on the computers.
Can the sound be audible on my computer?
*Keep the sound off.
Can I mess around with anyone's computer power, cords, or wires?
*Do not turn off another student’s computer or unplug and cords or wires (your own or another student’s).
If I'm in 6th period, what is one extra end of class thing I have to do?
*6th period – stack chairs and turn computers off (not just the screen)
Where is the student center located?
*Student center at the back of the room (tissues – need some, folders, turn in drawer, pencils, hand sanitizer, etc.)
What are the end of class procedures?
*At the end of class, log off your computer, clean your area, push your chair under, turn tickets in, and turn folders in to your class period’s container,
When I am moving throughout the building, which side of the hallway should I walk?
*Walk on the right side of the hallway
What things can I do on the computer when I am finished with work for the day and have checked to see if I have anything missing?
*Acceptable computer games to play when ALL work is finished (check missing work first): Typing.com, Chess.com, Minecraft (if working on a project)
Can we have earbuds or phones in the class?
*No earbuds or phones
Where can I find things I might need during class?
*Student center at the back of the room (tissues – need some, folders, turn in drawer, pencils, hand sanitizer, etc.)
On which side of the hallway should we walk?
*Walk on the right side of the hallway
*Do not go in my back closet.
*Do not touch anything on my desk unless I give you permission.
What happens on Fabulous Friday if I am missing any work?
*If you are missing work, you will not participate in Fabulous Friday (if your class earns it) until all work in my class is finished. FABULOUS FRIDAY CHOICE BOARDS ARE DUE AT THE END OF THE QUARTER.
What happens to the snack drawing if my class does not earn Fabulous Friday (have to have 1 sticky note left by the end of class Thursday)?
*If your class does not earn Fabulous Friday by having at least 1 sticky note left for a week, we will not have a snack drawing.
What information should I put on my ticket and where should I put it?
*When you get a ticket for my class, put your 1st and last name and class period on it. Make sure you put it in your class’s ticket bucket. NO TICKET SHARING. Don’t bring other classes’ tickets to my room, and don’t take my tickets to other rooms.
Can we share tickets with friends, bring tickets from other classes, or take these tickets to other classes?

Are you allowed to go back to your grade level team area during class?
*You cannot go back to your grade level team area during Connections.
Are we allowed to wear hoods or hats on our heads? What is one exception?
*No hoodies or hats (except hats on Fridays)
Where do you earn the most tickets for this class?
*Be ready to learn. Get your folder, log on to the computer, and go to your warm-up page. Most tickets will come from this
