If its a "B" get her attention by coming over to her. 


If it is not a "B", ask a friend, read the board AND THEN put yourself in the waiting room using the magnets.

What is an active listener? AND What should you do if someone ELSE is not being an active listener?

An active listener is sitting, looking, listening and participating.


If someone else is misbehaving you should move away from them if possible and ignore their behavior.

What should I do if I am working in a group and someone in my group is misbehaving?

Try to remind them of your current task and expectations.

If that doesn't work

1. Notify Mrs. Davis IF she is available.  If not use the waiting room

2. Go off to do the activity on your own if possible.

Or

3. Complete an alternate activity (unfinished work, Read, Zearn) until Mrs. Davis is available to help the group problem solve.

What is the difference between a folder signing & a reflection form?

Folder signing is a first consequence and let's your parents know about this behavior. It serves more as a warning and is usually for minor behavior.

Reflection forms are for more serious behavior and the office and your parents are notified that you received one. This a more intense consequence and may come with a loss of privilege.
