WHATEVER I NEED time first thing in the morning. It's a time to be productive and get yourself ready for school mode for the day

Get a new pencil at any time but only sharpen a pencil during non teaching times so that there are no loud disruptions
Know what we are going to be learning about this week?
Looking at the daily schedule, the learning objective "I can" statements, the anchor focus charts in the back of the room, and on the weekly newsletter.
Extra copies of papers?

The centers and workshop rules?
Always complete must dos first and know what is expected , help but do not just share answers, stay on task, ask three before me, respect everyone’s space and time, keep track of your materials.
Genius hour?
Time to do research on anything I am interested in and can be done as a may do, during WIN time, or during extra time on Fridays when the must do check list is complete

ANYTIME! Just make sure to either raise your hand and not interrupt OR write the question on a post it note and put it on the “teacher to do list” or on paper and put in the “notes to the teacher” box

Anytime when NOT on a chrome book as long as it’s healthy and you are being productive and not a distraction!

By writing in our planner FIRST THING IN THE MORNING and looking on the weekly newsletter as well as on class dojo

The rating scale for class dojo behavior percentage?
More than 95%= AMAZING DAY
90-95%= great day
85-89%= good day
80-84%= ok day
Less than 80= need to make better choices tomorrow
Chrome books rules?
use clean and dry hands, hold the bottom of the device with two hands, no food or drink near the device, use only approved sites and apps, mind the battery life, practice good digital citizenship, use safe and respectful volume levels, stop and tun in when the teacher is talking, do not delete apps programs or extensions.
.... use the calm down corner or take a break?
Anytime you feel like a 3 or more on the stress scale but breaks or calm down corners are limited to twice a day and no more than 4 minutes at a time unless further discussed with Mrs Dyer
Get extra help for any class work, homework, friendship, or school time problems?
Write on a post it on the "teacher to do" list, writing a note and putting it in the "notes to the teacher" box, asking a question by raising your hand during whole group instruction, or asking during independent work time when Mrs Dyer is not working with someone else.
