A book to read for 25 minutes and my reading response page.
How do I sharpen my pencil?
Take it to the Pencil Tech's desk. Insert it into the sharpener all the way and let go. The Robot Sharpener will spit it out when it's Sharp.
When sitting on the carpet area, where should I sit?
As close to Mrs. Iglesias as possible or where she can see my eyes. No lying down!
Once in the classroom what should you do next?
Hang your items, grab a pencil, and move your magnet to select lunch!
How do I let Mrs. Iglesias know I need to use the bathroom?
Ask when she is not speaking with anyone or teaching the whole class. If there is a line, I can give the hand signal for the bathroom.
When can I get grab my home lunch? Is it the same everyday?
After your table is neat and tidy, Mrs. Iglesias will dismiss us to grab our lunches. Listen, because it could be all at once or by rows.
Where do I put my trash and how?
Place your trash in the trashcan and NEVER throw it in.
What does it mean when Mrs. Iglesias puts on her glasses?
She can not be interrupted or talked to unless it's an emergency!
What do I do if I have work to turn in from being absent or finishing it at home?
Put it them in the turn in basket!
Where do I use the bathroom and how should I be in the hallway?
Silently walk to the bathrooms by the gym.
What do I do if I have to get a school lunch?
Tidy up your desk and wait to be dismissed to line-up. We can get our lunch when Mrs. Iglesias dismisses us!
What do I do if I pass an iReady path?
Take your Chromebook to the iReady checker and show them your score and tell them math or reading. They record your score, give you 2 stickers for 70% or better, then place the stickers on the the back charts. One for your chart and one for the class chart.
Who is allowed to answer the phone and how?
The phone operator and they say "Mrs. Iglesias, student speaking!"
Where do I get a chair and which one do I use?
Use a blue chair at the end of your row, unless you have flexible seating, then you can have a rocker or a wobble stool from the front of the classroom.
What is the procedure in the bathroom?
Go

Where do I eat my lunch?
At your desk and on Fridays we can invite a friend or be invited by a friend with permossion?
Where do I go if I need a Bandaid for something minor?
The classroom health aide can get me one from the health kit.
What do I do if my seatmate is absent?
Collect each assignment for them and place it inside their binder?
What should I do when I make it to my seat and what voice level?
Start the morning work on level 0.
When are the two times I cannot use the bathroom in class?

Can I use the microwave in the class and if so what do I do?
Yes! Walk your items over, place them inside on a plate, cover it, and heat for no more than 2 Minutes. If you made a mess, clean it up!
