You should remind your friend that your voice needs to be at a level 0. You can talk to them at lunch, recess, or brain break time.

Mrs. Kennedy is absent. There is a sub who is teaching us a math lesson. Even though we normally do Rocket Math when we finish an assignment early, she tells us to read to self. I take out my Chromebook anyway and begin Rocket Math. Is this an example of being respectful?
No.Being respectful means doing what a teacher asks you to do. Even though things may not be the same as a normal day, we still need to do as we are told.
