What is the first thing you do when you enter the classroom?
Read the Smartboard and move your name to how you go home.
Where can I find additional supplies?
In the community supply center located under the SmartBoard.
How many books can I check out?
Please only keep 3 at a time.
What will Mrs. Marsh be doing during workshop time?
Teaching a mini-lesson, working with groups or individuals, and monitoring students.
How do I pick a seat?
We will change seats once a month. If your seat isn't a good fit for you, Mrs. Marsh can move you.
Where do you put your water bottle and lunchbox?
On the bookshelf under the SmartBoard.
Where do I turn in assignments?
Assignments go in the labeled rainbow bins.
You can put a book into the class favorites bucket! Write why you love the book on a sticky note and sign your name so we can see!
If I finish my assignment early, what should I do?
Find something related to the "class" we're in or check for a must do/may do board. When in doubt, read!
When can I use the restroom or get water?
If Mrs. Marsh is not teaching/it's independent work time, check the sign out board. If there are less than 3 people out of the room then you can sign out and go.
Where do I go after I've cleaned up in the afternoon?
To sit quietly on the carpet.
Can I bring in a device?
Yes! Your parents will need to fill out the BYOD form.
I want a book but we don't have it. What do I do?
Write the name and author on a sticky note. Give it to Mrs. Marsh and she will try to add it to our library!
Do I have homework?
Yes, you will have math homework each week, reading 20 minutes per night, and studying for tests.
What do I do if my pencil breaks?
Put your pencil in the dull bucket and get a new one from the sharp bucket.
Can I talk to a friend in the morning?
Where do devices go?
In the filing cabinet, according to your class number.
When do we go to the learning commons?
Mondays from 9:00 - 9:30.

Where do I keep unfinished work?
In your unfinished work folder.
Where do I get my mail?
From the mailboxes. Mail is gotten on Fridays with behavior sheets.
Do we have class jobs?
Yes! They will change every month.
