What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
You hang up backpack, make your lunch choice, turn in forms or $, get out your homework and write in your morning work journal.
What do you when you walk in the hallways?
You walk in a quietly and straight line ON THE BLUE LINE.
When you come to school late like after 7:30, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you work in groups?
By taking turns talking and sharing.
What do you do to help other be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
Ask 3 before me. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
What do you do if you get hurt during recess?
Tell Mrs. Osborne or another teacher immediately.
Where should 4th grade students play during recess?
The need to play only in our assigned playground for 5 weeks.
How many people is considered a group?
2 or more people.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
After SPECIALS, lunch and recess. During independent work time-raise hand with fingers crossed.
What happens to you when you put your hands on another student while outside?
You might get silent lunch or walk laps during your recess time.
How do you get silent lunch?
If you disrespect your teachers, others and are not following rules to think about what you have done wrong. or not completing homework
How do you present your group work?
Each group member takes his/her turn to present information.
What kind of food can students have in class?
Water or snack at snack time
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school, or afterschool. You can also trade your pencil for another.
What do you do when the recess duty person blows the whistle?
You will walk quietly to you line and line up in number order.
How do students get sent to the principal?
By fighting, harassing others, threatening others, and disobeying the teacher.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up?
In number order. or reverse number order
How should you behave in the hallway to the cafeteria?
You should be quiet because it is the hallway
When can you go out of the class?
You can't unless your teacher sends you with a note or a hall pass.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting others.
