What two things should you do when you first enter Mrs. Phinney's class for WIN?
1. Say hello to Mrs. Phinney!
2. Find a spot to sit where you won't be too chatty during the WIN time.

Students talking quietly and not disrupting others. Level 1
What do you bring to W.I.N. time?
pencil and eraser, clipboard/whiteboard, pouch/box of supplies
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask your partner/group or Mrs. Ward.
Why does it mean to Stick Together?
Go where the group is going. Do what you are asked to do in class. Follow along with the lesson.
What do you do if you need something in class?
Raise your hand and ask for it or go get it yourself.
How do you show respect for other students' things?
By not touching or messing with something that does not belong to you! Clear off your desk before WIN time.
When can you use the bathroom?
Before we start this W.I.N. time or after we are finished!
What does No Hurts mean?
What is your job in class?
stay focused, follow along, participate in the discussion
How do you enter and exit this class?
quietly and respectfully, waiting by the lockers if the teacher is not ready for you
When can you sharpen a pencil?
Anytime Mrs. Phinney is not teaching or someone else is sharing with the class.
What does it mean to Have Fun?
Be in control of your body and your actions. Be kind and encouraging. Be a good sport.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work done.
Where are the tissues?
By the sink and by the window!
What do you do if you cannot sharpen your pencil but you really need to keep writing?
Put your old one in the gray basket and get a new one from the pencil dispenser.
Why do we have rules at school?
To keep us safe and have a helpful learning environment.
