Put your name AND number on your paper.
If another classmate upsets me, what should I do?
Take a moment to calm down, share calmly how you feel and reach a mutual agreement. If that can't be done then go get your teacher for help or advice.
What day do we bring computers home and what are the "Must Do's" for math?
Tuesday (Tech Tuesday).
Must do Math Fact Lab.
Where can I find extra paper, pencils or crayons? How should I treat this area?
On the white table by the board, student station. Get one pencil at a time, and return any extras. May only get paper to work out math problems, unless asking for other reasons. Must put all crayons back in their correct tray. Keep it neat and clean! Use the pencil sharpener carefully, not shoving pencils into it.
What should you do when you come into my room first?
Read the board and follow the directions given!
Canaday- Put trays away quietly, grab chromebooks and go to 99 Math quietly, doing the warmup first. Or going to the carpet and waiting quietly to start.
Lavender- Going to our seats, putting away trays and then getting chromebooks. Starting with independent work, moving around the room if it's our day silently. Listening for your small group to be called.
If an assignment is unfinished, and you will need to return to it to complete it, where will it go?

How do we earn tickets in our classrooms?
Exceeding expectations! Going out of your way to help others or your teacher. Following directions the first time and being a ROLE MODEL.
When can I get on Choice Board?
When I have completed my Edmentum (10 mins) and 1 box of Math Fact Lab.
How should I treat any math manipulatives?
(tiles, shapes, blocks)
What do you do as soon as you get back from specials before dismissal?
Check our mailbox! Get all flyers, papers and homework and put them in our binder. Finish packing up and have a seat.
How many minutes of Edmentum must I do each day?
10 minutes each day!
How should we behave when in the hallway?
What consequence occurs if this can't be done correctly?
Walk in a straight line on street three, silently. With no gaps in the line. No running, skipping or jumping.
This keeps us safe!
If not, we will continue to practice walking during our recess time or we will restart and try again.
Close them right away, or your chromebook will be shut off from games or choice board. Walk and plug them into the cart in their correct place.

While the class is taking a test, give me some examples of what the classroom should look like and sound like?
Sound like: It should be silent, raising your hand to ask for help quietly.
Look like: Everyones eyes on their own paper and working hard, trying their best. No one should be out of their seat. Dividers should be standing up correctly at all times.
How should we behave when using the restroom?
Line up outside of the restroom door, wait on the bathroom monitor to let us in. No talking or playing in the restroom, clean up after yourself and exit quickly to get back in line. No one should be talking other than the monitor.
If you can't follow this, you will no longer be allowed to be a monitor.
How should you put my headphones away and where do they go?
How should my desk appear, or my pencil pouch and binder?
My desk should have no loose papers, trash or food in it.
My binder should be fixed neatly, no papers falling out and should be with me at all times in both classes.
My pencil pouch should only have a few pencils (3) and no trash or toys.
What are you expected to do before leaving my room?
What are some ways I can clean up the room to be a role model, help my teacher and others?
Clean your desk, above and below. Leave no trash or mess for another student to find. Have your tray and binder on your desk, waiting quietly and ready to go. Fix flexible seating correctly and quickly!
Quietly walk around the room, pick up any trash or loose items and put them where they belong. Not always to earn tickets but to be a good student, friend and role model. Remember go above and beyond to earn!

How should we behave at lunch?
What will it sound like or look like?
Everyone is seated, not moving from their seat, facing forward. Not playing with our food, eating politely. Feet on the floor and not kicking or playing. Clean up our entire area with no trash on the table. Walking to throw away and line up.
No yelling, talking with the friend next to us and across from us. Not turning around to talk behind us or down the table.
What is something I should not do that will cost me computer privileges?
Do Free Choice without permission, google anything, get on GRC pages without asking, change my computer settings or make it glitch. Slamming my computer shut or not taking care of it.
What may we use Expo Markers for and how should we take care of them?
We can use them to solve problems on our desk or a white board, no drawing unless earned at the end of lesson. Put the cap back on tightly, not pressing the tip down hard and returning them to where you got them.
If my snail is on and people are at my table what are the steps you should do if you need help?
Ask 3 before the teacher, quietly! Check the board again to see if you missed any directions, hand signals for water or restroom. After you have done all, you may quietly wait beside my table for help. Do not be rude and interrupt others learning unless its an emergency.
