NO, only when Ms. Acosta gives you candy as a reward.

Raise one finger and create your pass in Smart Pass

Quiet, Read some books in Spanish.

What should I do if I have lost my laptop charger?
Ask Ms. Acosta to BORROW one
Can I play video games on my chromebook?
No. That's a major violation.
Can I put my hands on somebody as a joke?
No, that's a major writeup.
When can I use the bathroom?
First 10 last 10 is no. During work time or individual time. Not during lesson time. Never leave class without an E-pass.
Can you stand at the door before the class is over?
No, organize your space and stand behind it until Ms. Acosta dismisses you.

What is the first thing you should do when you come in the classroom?
Go to your seat, read the board, get your supplies and begin to do the bell work.
When AND where can I sharpen my pencil?
At the beginning of class or During work time. Not during teaching or lesson time. The sharpener is in the back of the classroom!
Where can you turn in your work when it is completed?
The designated turn in row in the gray filer.
Can you move chairs in my classroom?
NO, please leave all chairs the way you found them.
How do you show respect to others who are talking?
Listen carefully and track the person talking.
Do we have homework in this class?
No, but whatever you don't finish during class is homework!
How do you leave your space?
Clean, organized!
How do we walk into the room?
Walk in quietly, NO RUNNING.
What do you have to do when given permission to leave the classroom?
CREATE YOUR PASS IN SMART PASS AND GET THE HARD PASS FROM THE COUNTER
What do I do If I need a pencil?
Get one from the basket, then sharpen it and return it to the basket. Do not break it.
