Nitrogen-fixing bacteria change N2 into fixed nitrogen. Plants can absorb fixed nitrogen, Consumers get nitrogen by eating plants, Nitrogen is returned to soil, some is reused by plants, & some are converted into N2 by bacteria.

Explain how competition & predation can negatively affect an environment.
If two animal are competing for the same resource that resource will be over used, & eventually depleted. Causing both parties to have to die off. Predation will ultimately kill of one entire species, causing the other to die as well.
