What should you do if you don't understand what the question is asking?
Try rephrasing it. Put the question in your own words. If there is a vocab word in the question that you don't know try: breaking the word into parts you do know (prefixes, roots, suffixes), thinking of a word that is similar to the word you don't know, use the context around the word, fill in words you do know to guess and check the meaning of the unknown word.

What is the difference between a main idea and a supporting detail.
Main ideas are a complete sentence that describes the most important idea in the text. Supporting details are pieces of information from the text that help to prove the main idea.

How are a fragment and a run on sentence different?
A fragment is an incomplete thought (an unfinished sentence) with too little information. A run on sentence is a sentence that includes too much information that must be split into at least two sentences in order to make sense.

The prefrontal cortex is the judgment center in the brain. It controls primary decision making, though unfortunately it is not fully developed until an individual's early twenties. How might teenagers suffer as a result of their prefrontal vortexes being underdeveloped?
Teenagers might suffer because of their underdeveloped prefrontal contexts by not being able to make clear and rational decisions. Abstract means something that cannot be experienced with the five senses. An example would be love. Concrete means something that can be experienced with the five senses. An example would be a heart.
