Why is there a bean bag chair and other fun chairs in our classroom?
It is our reading corner! Whenever you are done your work, you can choose a book and read in our reading corner
How many kids do we have in our class?
19 wonderful kids!
Where do I put my water bottle?
On your desk...don't drink anyone elses except yours!!!! Ew germs!!
What are our rules at snack or lunch time?
You need to be sitting at your own desk eating quietly! You only get up if you are throwing something out. Be kind to the teacher on duty.
Why are there coloured stickers on our books?
This helps us keep our books organized. When you are finished reading a book please make sure it goes back in the right bin. These books do not go home!
How many years has Ms. Sutton taught at Ontario Public School?
This will be my second year! Last year I taught Grade 2 and 3!
What do you put inside your desk?
Colouring supplies, pencil case, books, other school supplies....absolutely no food....like ever!!!!
Where do we go for recess? What about when the bell rings?
We will go outside at reccess after you have snack. When the bell rings, we will line up together outside of the door.
What are Sutton Stars? How can I get them?
Sutton stars is what I give out when I see someone working hard, being kind or making a great choice! We have a draw at the end of every month for some prizes!
How many kids does Ontario School have in it?
450 students
What if I don't have a pencil or colouring supplies....where can I get this?
Each group has their own bin...borrow and put back in your bin for next time!
How do we walk in the hallway?
We don't run that's for sure! We walk calmly and quietly in a line... just like Grade 2s know how to!
Why is there a mirror in our classroom?
How old is Ontario Public School?
52 years old! It was open in 1973...way before I was born!

Can I turn on the lights?
I prefer to have different kinds of lights in our classroom. This is why we have lamps and string lights. They make me feel better!
