What is Voices of Color?
Excluding a person of color from being able to enroll in a program or group
What is mezzo?
The idea that an individual's race, class, gender, and age are all interdependent of each other to create experiences of discrimination and privilege
What is intersectionality?
Form of racism that involves harmful and discriminatory stereotypes that misrepresent communities in the media
What is media racism?
A tenet that describes how racial stereotypes assigned to people of color and minority groups change to fit the needs of the majority group (ex: Chinese Exclusion Act)

Before the Fair Housing Act of 1968, policies that discriminated against people of color and prohibited them from equal housing opportunities
