What is a resolution?

A MUN resolution paper is the formal document produced and adopted by various UN bodies. In Model UN, it is a summary of the document that contains all the clauses written by the delegates during the simulation to be voted on at the end.

What is the difference between a moderated caucus and an unmoderated caucus?
In a moderated caucus a delegate makes a motion to suspend debate and the committee vote. In an unmoderated caucus, the delegates meet informally with one another and the committee staff to discuss and negotiate draft resolutions, amendments and other issues.

Role-playing simulation which focuses on collaboration and consensus-building through discussion and debate all in a virtual environment.

How do voting procedures work?
Amendments are voted upon first, then resolutions. Once all of the resolutions are voted upon, the committee can move to the next topic.
