Auricularis Superior
Located between jaws and cheek; responsible for compressing cheek to release air outwardly, as in blowing
Buccinator
Extends from tip of chin to shoulders and chest; draws lower lip and corner of mouth sideways and down, partially opening mouth, as in surprise or fright
Platysma
Extends the length of upper arm to the forearm; controls forward movement of forearm
Triceps
Originates in upper portion of fibula from just below knee to heel; bends foot down
Soleus
Located above eyelids; raises eyelid
Mentalis
Extends along side of neck from ear to collarbone; causes head to move from side to side up and down, as in nodding yes or no
Sternocleidomastoideus
Located mid-forearm, on inside of arm; bends wrist and closes fingers
Flexor
Runs along interior border of foot; moves big toe away from other toe
Abductor Hallucis
The muscle that circles the eye socket; closes the eye lid
Orbicularis Oculi
Corner of mouth; draws mouth up and out, as in grinning
Risorius
Flat, triangular; covers lumbar (lower back) region and lower half of thoracic region; aids in swinging arms
Latissimus Dorsi
Runs across front of lower part of radius and ulna, turns palm of the hand downward and inward
Tibialis Anterior
Located between eyebrows, across bridge of nose; draws brows down; wrinkles area across bridge of nose
Located above corners of mouth; raises angle of mouth, as in snarling
Caninus
Flat, triangular, covers upper and back part of neck and shoulders; aids in drawing head back and elevating shoulder blades
Trapezius
Runs parallel to the ulna; turns palm of hand up
Supinator
Located along base of small toe; flexes joint of small toe
Flexor Digiti Minimi Brevis
Corrugator
Located below corners of mouth; draws corners of mouth down, as in expressing depression
Triangularis

Triangle shaped; covers the shoulder; lifts or turns the arm
Deltoid
Located between tibialis interior and extensor digitorum longus; extends big toe and flexes foot
