Staff

Treble Clef
A tool musicians use to notate pitches above middle C on the piano

Ledger Lines
A short line added for notes above or below the range of a staff
Middle C
The C near the middle of the piano keyboard, written on the first ledger line below the treble staff or the first ledger line above the bass staff.

Half note
2 beats, the circle with a stem/line going out of it
Flags
The mark added to a note stem to indicate the beat division of that note
Eighth note
1/2 a beat, the filled-in circle with a flag
Sixteenth note
1/4 of a beat, the filled-in circle with two flags
Barlines
A vertical line used in a musical score to mark a division between bars
Time Signature
Used to specify how many beats are contained in each measure, and which note value is equivalent to a beat
Grand Staff
A combination of two staves put together, usually a treble clef and a bass clef.
Quarter note
1 beat, the filled-in circle with a stem/line going out of it
Measures
A single unit of time featuring a specific number of beats played at a particular tempo
