Rufus... is that guy. His favorite song is "It's about Drive, it's about Power!" by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. That explains everything.

Joan says she feels her pace of work changes between days. Some days shes running, and some days shes speed walking, but she's averaging a jogging pace.

Rufus gets an assignment that he has to complete before the end of the day. He tells himself, "It has to be done. Let's knock it down. Let's do it!"

Joan always meets the basic requirements of her job description. She is meticulous and thoughtful in her work. It might be because she is not too confident in her abilities.

Wanda complains that it is the administrations fault that the workplace isn't productive. She says that if they could do better, her work wouldn't have to be better.

Ridley states that he is 100% entitled to his job. He interviewed for the position so he should keep it.

Rufus is a pro at board meetings. He says "I appreciate all ideas. As long as they are positive and contribute to the bus' movement, I am all for it!"

Joan says that Rufus is a stand-offish guy. That may be how he appears to others. But deep down, Joan likes and respects him for his professionalism and work ethic.

Wanda notices that her boss seems to really notice and take a liking towards Rufus, a coworker of hers. She tells others that the favoritism isn't fair at all.

Ridley states that he doesn't care about their own personal success or the success of others. Heck, he don't even care about the success of the organization he works for.

Rufus is as cool as a cucumber. He doesn't feel above basic tasks. He says "I always try my best no matter the task. I shouldn't be picky. I do what I do because I enjoy doing it, truly."
What is " I should do the same too, Rufus. I won't let my ego take control of me. I would like to enjoy the work I do and succeed in it."
Joan says she will continue to work hard to keep the bus moving and spring more often. She notices that Rufus, the top performer, always gets the top rewards first. She decides to adopt his work ethic, and hopefully, the rewards too.
What is "That's a brilliant idea, Joan! I also want to improve my work ethic and be more like Rufus. Let's both do our best!"
Wanda harps on about the low performances of others. It's as if she is trying to highlight their mistakes so that hers go unnoticed.
What is "You shouldn't focus on the failures of others. You should focus on their strengths, because those determine their character. How can we both improve our own characters?"
Ridley states that everyone else in the workplace take breaks too. He says he shouldn't be fired for slacking off if others are doing it too.

Rufus is a busy bee, and therefore, he often sacrifices personal aspects of his life to maintain his professional one. He loves to sing "That's Life," by Frank Sinatra, but we all wish he would take better care of himself.
What is "I admire you, Rufus. You have an incredible focus and work ethic. But please, make sure to maintain your personal life too. I'll help you by completing anything that is not a top priority for you."
Joan has a burning desire for validation. She is an amazing person to work with, and she gets a lot of success, don't get me wrong. It's just that she really tries to be noticed for it.
What is "Don't worry about your image to others. Your work shouldn't be a mean for attention. The attention will come when your work is done. Keep doing what you're doing, Joan."
Wanda tells you that she is there for you. She tells you she understands the difficulties of the workplace. She says she is your best friend. She starts giving you negative comments about everything. That includes-- EVERYTHING.
What is "Thank you so much, Wanda. I appreciate your kindness. Thank you," and distancing yourself from Wanda to avoid the spread of her negativity onto you.
Ridley states he isn't having a good day. That everything at work is going horribly because of the clientel, or the managers, or other coworkers, or blah blah blah...
