Jobs in Schools
I usually have around 20-25 students who I am with for most of the school day.
What is a teacher?
I work in hospitals and offices sometimes prescribing medicine and finding other treatment for medical needs.
What is a doctor?
I deliver mail and packages.
Who is a mailman or mail carrier or postal worker?
I serve food at restaurants.
Who is a waitress, waiter, or server?
I help keep the school clean.
What is a custodian?
I work in hospitals, schools, and offices assisting doctors and giving medicine, shots, taking temperatures, taking blood pressures, and many other things to help people be healthy.
Who is a nurse?
I help put out fires in burning buildings and houses.
Who is a fireman or fire fighter?
Who is a pilot?
I am the person who answers the phone and greets parents and visitors to the school.
Who is the receptionist or office manager?
I help people keep their teeth clean and make sure they do not have cavities.
Who is a dentist?
I help solve crimes and protect people.
Who is a police officer?
My job is to help defend our country. Sometimes that means going to different countries and serving in wars.
I am the leader of the school. One of my jobs is to hire school staff and make decisions to help the school run.
Who is the principal?
I drive an ambulance and help people stay healthy until they can get to the hospital.
What is an EMT or paramedic?
I help collect the waste and trash to keep our towns clean.
What is a Garbage Truck Driver or Sanitation worker or Trash collector.
My job is to cut, color, and style hair.
Who is a hair stylist?
I help students when emotions and behaviors get in the way of learning. I see students in small groups, individually, and in classrooms.
Who is the school counselor?
I am the type of doctor that might work at CVS or Walgreens to give out prescribed medicine.
Who is a pharmacist?
I help people understand the law and make sure they are not being unfairly accused and punished for crimes they did not commit.
What is a lawyer?
I help people file their taxes and manage their money.
