Plot
A short story, usually with animals as characters, that teaches a moral or lesson.
Fable
Willing to face danger or pain

Protagonist
A story involving magical elements, often featuring royalty, magical creatures, and a happy ending.
Fairy tale
Telling the truth and being trustworthy
The main problem in the story
Climax
A struggle between a character and mother nature. Mother nature: wether, animals, insects, sickness, and epidemics.
Man vs. Nature (External)
The character or force in conflict with the protagonist.
Antagonist
A traditional story often involving gods, heroes, and supernatural events, used to explain natural phenomena or cultural beliefs.

Events that take place after the climax prepare the story for it's resolution
Falling Action
A struggle between a character and the laws or beliefs of a group. Could include poverty, politics, social norms, expectations, or values.
Man vs. Society (External)
The time and place of the story
Setting
A narrative of human actions that are perceived by both the storyteller and listeners to take place within human history, often exaggerated or idealized.
Legend
Always wanting more than one needs
Greedy
The part of a story where conflicts or problems introduced earlier are addressed, and characters may overcome obstacles, find solutions, or experience personal growth.
Resolution
A struggle between opposing forces or characters
Conflict
problems that rise as characters struggle to reach their goals.
Complications
A story that explores futuristic or scientific concepts, often involving space, time travel, or advanced technology.
