The main character is sick of his life eating garbage. He has a passion for food and cooking. With the help of his new fried he is able to work as a chef in 4 star restaurant. His new success leads him to almost losing his friends, family, and job. He learns from his mistakes and is able to have everything he wanted.
Rags to Riches
Something or someone that is alive and plays a part in the story.

Marcus warily took one more glance at his mom, unable to read the look on her face, before heading to school.
3rd Person Limited
The majority of the story where the plot is developing and the conflict is building.
Rising Action
The main character's home or life is threatened by a bad guy. The bad is much stronger than the main character. The main character must beat the odds to win.
Overcoming the Monster
2 coworkers have never seen eye to eye. When a workplace accident happens they both end up lost far away from their home and jobs. They must work together, with the help of a new friend, to get back to work and save the thing they care most about.

The lesson learned/ the central idea of the story.

The point where the conflict is at it's most tense point.
Climax
The main character is not a bad person but makes bad decisions. These decisions lead to the main character ruining their life or dying.
Tragedy
A new ship that is described as "unsinkable" takes off on a voyage to America. Unfortunately several people who are in charge have made fatal mistakes. The ship hits an iceberg and unfortunately starts to sink. Around 1,500 people lose their lives with many few surviving. Among those deaths were the people in charge.

Margaret, the eldest of the four, was sixteen, and very pretty, being plump and fair, with large eyes, plenty of soft, brown hair, a sweet mouth, and white hands, of which she was rather vain. Fifteen-year-old Jo was very tall, thin, and brown, and reminded one of a colt, for she never seemed to know what to do with her long limbs, which were very much in her way. She had a decided mouth, a comical nose, and sharp, gray eyes, which appeared to see everything, and were by turns fierce, funny, or thoughtful.

A brother and sister are awaiting their babysitter. A strange cat shows up and takes the roll of babysitter. He tries to flip their boredom into fun with different whacky tricks. He ends up leaving their house in shambles. Ultimately this story ends happy.

Resolution
There is some sort of confusion/misunderstanding that leads to conflict. This conflict leads to funny scenarios. Overall there is a happy ending.
Comedy
A group of friends needs a large sum of money fast in order to save their neighborhood. When the children discover an old pirate map in the attic, they follow it into an underground cavern in search of lost treasure but come up against plenty of dangerous obstacles along the way.
