Many people wants Cinderella to have this plot-twist, do you know why?

Cinderella step-sister's used trick and fit in the shoes. The prince asked her to show the other shoe but she said she broke it. He had to marry her because of his promise. When people were busy preparing, Cinderella escaped and showed the prince the other shoe and expose her step-sister.

The plot-twist showed the Prince is intelligent and a man who keeps his words and it gave Cinderella the chance to fight for her happiness, not simply received from others.
