Explain how humanity first confirmed the heliocentric model of the solar system.

The unusual paths of the planets was the best early evidence. The decisive evidence was really when Galileo pointed the telescope at the planets and discovered they also had moons, so clearly not everything had to orbit Earth. This allowed us to consider the sun as the centre.

500

Outline some differences between a mixture and a compound?

Mixtures contain no set ratio of elements, compounds do. Compounds have only one type of particle, mixtures have at least two. Compounds contain chemical bonds between elements, mixtures might not.

500

Explain how the digestive system meets a particular need of a living thing.

The digestive system separates the nutrients out of food and delivers them to the blood stream. This enables the cells of the body to have access to chemical energy and other important cell-building materials.

That Jesus is king!

God loves us. Though we have done wrong, Jesus has died in our place so that God can forgive us if we turn back to him. Jesus rose from the dead so we can also live with him forever. That when we place our faith in Jesus, his Spirit lives in us and gives us new life.
