What do the lights mean on Nest Protect? (Green, Yellow, Red)


Green light: - Once is ready and connected. Nightly Promise. After a heads up to tell you that smoke or carbon monoxide are now clearing.

Yellow light: Alert of low levels of smoke or CO. If a Heads-Up alert has been silenced. If it has low batteries, sensor problems, it has expired or fails a manual test.

Red light: It has detected dangerous levels of smoke or carbon monoxide. If a CO Emergency Alarm has been silenced.

Does the Nest Thermostat Sensor contribute with Home/Away assist?

No, the Nest Temperature Sensor doesn’t have a motion sensor, so it can’t contribute to Home/Away assist.
