No! Absolutely not!
If youth do not know their sponsor/relatives phone number, during intake process with case manager they can obtain that information from the cell.
How long do we have to do the facility tour?
24 Hours.
What touchpoint we use to document if the youth has an allergy?
UM- Allergies a, Food Intolerance and Preferences.
Where can the youth find the bedroom rules once escorted to their room.
Yes, we update the sponsor information, room number and wake up time. Also, what was completed and what is pending for the upcoming shift.
When we ask the youth to toss all their personal clothing, where do we document?
Youth are allowed to keep their clothing and they decided if they want to toss any personal item away.
There is no LGBTQ statement?

If a youth ever discloses that they are LGBT we need to notify the clinician and Case manger.
Do the youth need to sign on paper or on the touchpoint once we read them their rights?
Both.

Can the youth brush their teeth while the other youth use the mirror in the restroom to brush their hair?
No! Only one youth is allowed in the restroom.
How many purses are the youth able to keep from their personal belongings?
Youth can not keep any purses or backpacks. The program will provide a backpack.
Where do we find the presentations for the new intakes?
Command drive>New Intake Presentation>YCW Mandatory Presentation.
How many touchpoints are to be completed during intake process?

What are the bed rules that we need to explain to the youth?
1- The youth are responsible to keep their room clean.
2- Only one youth per bed, youth are not allowed to sleep in the same bed.
3- Youth need to knock before entering the restroom and only 1 youth at the time.
4- If the youth is using the restroom and staff need to verify the youth in the restroom, they need to respond I am here/ estoy bien)
5- They need to change clothes in the restroom at all times. No matter what!
6- Youth are not able to come out of the room once they are escorted to their room. If they need anything, they need to wait by the door.
7- Explain about the second door and window. They may not open the door or window, if they do attempt an alarm will notify security immediately.
8- Also, that they are able to use the blankets under the blue cover. (Some youth have use their jackets to keep warm because they are not aware that there is a blanket under the blue cover.)
9- Laundry process and bag.
Do you have any suggestions??We inform medical onsite about the medication or SL.
(Put the medication in separate zip log with youth information, Name and A# and provide to medical or SL.)
