Who do you call if there is an emergency on campus?
Call the police department here on campus if you don't know the number or who to call tell an employee or professor.

Can you get money back from the school after all of your fees are paid off?
Yes, if you apply for many scholarships, grants, and national aid you can get that money back.
Is there a campus health clinic?
yes, in the medical technology building room 118
Is academic support only available to PCC students?
PCC offers support for veterans, people with disabilities, and also younger students (high school, middle school) through the STEM program
What to do when an emergency happens on campus?
Fire- Find the nearest exit and don't take elevators to take the stairs.
Lockdown- Lockdowns. turn lights off, and stay out of sight.
Lockout- Secure the perimeter and stay indoors no one out no one in.
Shelter- For a tornado find a shelter, for server weather find shelter.
Where can I purchase my school books and supplies?
The Nook, which is the PCC bookstore which is located in the Student Center Rm. 148
How many credit hours are you if you are a full-time student or a half-time student?
To be a full-time student you have to have 12 credit hours. A part-time student is 6 credit hours.
Does PCC have a gym I can access?
The Rec Center is located on the first floor of the Student Center next to the bookstore. Your membership is included in your tuition. The hours are 6 am-7 pm closed on weekends.
Can you get a job here on campus?
Yes, you can get paid real money to work here on campus as a work-study there are many different departments you could choice from.
If you don't feel safe walking on campus by yourself who can you call?
Police Officers and security guards provide escorts to and from the parking lots as requested. Students, staff, and faculty members are encouraged to walk with friends or co-workers if a police officer or guard is unavailable.
Where do I pay for my classes?
The cashier’s office which is located on the second floor of the student center takes all payments for tuition, fees, tests, and membership fees that can be paid there.
What types of Degrees does PCC offer?
Associates, bachelors, and certificates
Is there a dental office on campus?
Yes, it is located in the health Sciences building.
What does the library have to offer students?
The library is located in the Academic building Rm 110. This offers students access to write online resource materials for classes as well as a quiet place to study.
Does PCC have it’s own police department?
Yes, PCC PD is located in the Student Center, Room 152, and can be reached at (719) 549-3355.
Where would you find the academic advisor's office?
Student Center, 2nd floor (make sure to make an appointment)
There is a variety of different types of classes like online, virtual, and flex hydride which means you can choose to be online or in-person.
Are there different activities that anyone can join for free?
Yes, there is yoga, volleyball, and much other activitys that are held in the courtyard.
What is the Testing Center?
A student is able to take professional licensing examinations and certification tests. Tests that require the presence of a proctor are performed here.
What are the four Procedures that PCC will announce in the case of an emergency?
Lockdown, Lockout, Evacuate, and Shelter.
