On average, how many clinical absences will result in clinical failure? A. 1 or more missed days B. 2 or more missed days C. 3 or more missed days D. 4 or more missed days
2 or more missed days. You can only miss one clinical on average, depending on the total number of clinical hours for the course. The second one typically results in a clinical failure which would cause you to fail the entire course. Do NOT miss because you don't feel like going. Save that day for if you are on your deathbed or there is really bad weather. You never know what could happen! Hospitals never close so sometimes school may close but clinical is still on.

What is our withdraw period at Galen so as to not affect course grade or GPA? A. Within the first week of the quarter B. Within the first 2 weeks of the quarter C. Within the first 4 weeks of the quarter D. Within the first 6 weeks of the quarter
C. Within the first 4 weeks of the quarter If you withdraw within the first 4 weeks of the quarter, it will just show as a "W" on your transcript. This will not affect your GPA. Withdrawing anytime after the end of week 4 will result in either a "WF" or a "WP" depending on your grade in the class as of when you withdraw. This will be factored into your GPA, and a "WF" is considered a course failure and counts towards Galen's failure policy.
