Paul was blinded by God on the road to Damascus, and God sent Ananias to help him. He converted after these events. It is important to us, because Saul used to persecute Christians, and after he gave his life to God, he did amazing things in Jesus' name. It shows that none of us are beyond the grace of God.

Why is it so important for us to understand the context of the letters in the New Testament. 

These letters were written to specific people for specific reasons, so they are written with an assumption of existing understanding of the situation.

We should do it in secret. We do it this way, so that our focus in on God, and not gaining attention or feeling superior to others for doing these things.

One day, the disciples plucked corn in a field, and made the Pharisees very angry at them. Why were they mad about this?

It was the Sabbath when Jewish people aren't supposed to work.

How did the Holy Spirit descend to us, and what amazing thing do we see happen right after this?

It came down in tongues of fire on the day of Pentecost. Immediately after, we see the effects of the Tower of Babel lifted as Peter is speaking to a big diverse crowd, and everyone hears his message in their own language.

All we have to do is ask for it. We don't do it out of pride, and not wanting to give up control.

Jesus and James both say that we can't serve two masters. What two masters are they referring to?

God and money.

In a quiet room, because our prayers should be about forming a connection with God and with worshiping him, not about making a scene or showing off to other people.

Why are there differences in the Gospels, and why do these differences reinforce their reliability? 

They were eyewitness statements given by different disciples, so by having differences, it shows that it wasn't a rehearsed story, instead the disciples were truthfully telling what they saw and experienced.

What was the monetary reason people were so angry at Paul during his missions trips?

People used to give offering to Roman temples to their "gods", as well as buying idols from local shops. The more that Paul traveled, the more people converted. The more people converted, the less they were going to temples and buying idols, causing a significant effect in the local economy.

It was the payment for a slave killed by Bull or Ox found in Exodus & it was the wages to be paid to a shepherd found in Zechariah.

That the temple would be destroyed and rebuilt in 3 days. It is largely believed that when Jesus said this, he was referencing his own death and resurrection.

They were debating whether or not new gentile Christians needed to follow the old Jewish laws in order to be "part of the family". It was determined that they did not, and instead, it is only by Jesus that we are all saved. This is important to us, because we are gentiles.

Paul writes Romans in a specific order of stating his Theology, then going over the Application. Why is this format, and understanding both so important?

Theology without application is just intellectualism, or knowing but not showing. Even the demons know Jesus, but don't following him. Application without theology is shallow advice. If you don't fully understand what you're doing or why you are doing it, you won't be able to do it very well, or for the right reasons.
