False, I think. When studying the effects of emotion on cognition I think one can't overlook the role of biological processes (e.g. amygdala activation, cortisol release, etc.); while this isn't mandatory, it could be part of this topic.

Because students get to choose which essay response they write - so they can prep for just one approach for the essay.
