Sit quietly with your instrument in resting position, be ready for instruction

They go up when Mr. Carlson's hands go up, and come down when Mr. Carlson's hands come down

How do we practice difficult sections of music?
Break it down into smaller pieces, slow it down, and speed it up once we've got it
