The Holy Spirit's conviction of sin reveals God's love and goodness to us bc He wants us to do this and He will not keep a record of our sin.

Big problems happen in our lives. Like when Abram ran into the famine in the land where God had led him. Unlike what Abram did run from where God wanted him during a difficult time, God wants us to do this.

This is the land where God told Abram to go. Be specific it's in verse 1.

These two reasons are why Abram told Sarai to lie about not being his wife.

Abram wasn't perfect. He made mistakes especially when things became really tough and he had to be concerned with feeding all the people and animals that he loved and were under his protection. We see this cover Abram's faults and turn him back toward the God that loves Him.
